Notice for BERDE Special Committee Meetings (Updated)

Please be reminded of the BERDE Special Committee Meetings on the week of September 6 to 10.  The meetings shall be held at the PHILGBC Office, Unit G-4B, Ground Floor, The NET One Center, 26th corner 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.  The schedule of meetings are as follows: 
 
September 6, Monday
1pm to 3pm :  Transportation
3pm to 5pm :  Indoor Environment Quality
 
September 7, Tuesday
10am to 12nn :  Water
 
September 8, Wednesday
10am to 12nn :  Energy
1pm to 3pm :  Emission 
 
September 9, Thursday 
1pm to 3pm : Heritage Conservation
1pm to 3pm : Land Use 
3pm to 5pm : Innovation

In recent years, the quest for sustainable living has redefined conventions, including the way we view our public and private structures. This has paved the way for the growth of more breathable and environment-friendly “green” buildings in the country, sites that aptly demonstrate that nature and architecture can work together well.  

Green building as defined by the Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC) is the practice of creating structures that are designed, built, renovated, operated or re-used in an ecological and resource-efficient manner.
